Been there, done that (several times).

They have pointed me to my Network Admin (chocolate firegaurd) and my ISP (wooden firegaurd).

Sorry - got to ask - Why did you buy one of these? I couldn't understand the use of it?

My Blackberry on Orange supported something similar (UMA) and it was (is) superb.

Signal for Orange in my village is dire. With this as soon as your're in range of your own wireless it switches over. No loss in call, email, web...instantly it's on your wireless.

Not sure how Vodafone works but on the BB there's no charge for ANY data through this connection method either.

Sadly I upgraded away from BBerry....

Regret.....

I didn't.

My work mobile was on 02 for the last 10 years with full 5 bar signal in/around my house.

Our MD in his cost cutting wisdom did a deal to upgrade us from Nokia 6320i's to HTC HD2's and in the process moved me and 3 others over to Vodafone (becasue that's what he's on). 3/4 of us have little or no Vodafone signal in/around our houses, as I was at great pains to highlight to him.

Consequently he's had to fork out for 3 Suresignal boxes at £150 a pop and so far no one can get the poxy things working

...you did ask!

Nick these boxes are our product (Alcatel-Lucent Femto Cell). What problems are you having? Let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.
