Carbon Fibre panel?
Nope! 3M Di-Noc with 2 coats of Acrylic lacquer, I'm a bit impressed, the most convincing vinyl I have seen

Imagine how much lighter it would have been if you left the vinyl off
Actually, yes I'm very impressed, certainly looks real to me.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

I have a link somewhere to a project on a custom bike forum, the guy has used this, its certainly not cheap, but his work shows how good it can look
and how capable the product is
covered tanks, mudguards etc on a BMW bike, the result is extremely good
but the cost is not so nice
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

The 2 end pieces are access panels, the drivers side to give easy access to pedals, wiring etc; The passenger side gives access to the reverse motor
battery. the bike battery will sit on the centre section.

Prices have tumbled since it found it's way onto ebay, the cost of that piece cost £14, about 1/5th of the cost of carbon fibre sheet

Interesting! My friends car is covered in that stuff and it's extremely convincing.
I'm halfway through a carbon mods skinning kit on my tin top grille right now, it's not looking so good at the moment though I'll
post my results later/tomorrow when it's done

Is this what you would call a 'back - up battery?'
