Paint prep while driving car

Well, not actually driving at the same time....

Some of my car is prepped and etch primered. Some has build primer coats.

some is bare alli.

My question- Ive been driving the car like this. What do i have to do to prep it for the final coats?

Can i Panel wipe primed panels?

do i have to W & D all over again?

I would do a wet and dry all over using 600 ish... alternatively give it a quick over with 400 grit then wipe down and tack cloth, then just primer it all with one coat, then do the 600 then paint.

I would definitely want to rub it down as certain things like rubber and bug bits might not come off with a simple wipe.

I read that title and thought you wanted to prep it "while" driving it. I thought youd need very long arms!!

What paint are you using? celly would need more than 2 coats of colour, I used to do 3-4 double coats, then start thinning it down (more than 50:50)
If using 2K then you should be fine. Basecoat? not sure, probably want more than 2 coats as it is solvent based....
