repeaters in wing mirrors?

Im going to be putting all the lights on soon, and have been thinking of different solutions the repeater problem (not suitbale on scuttle anymore). And i dont think they look right stuck on the front or rear wing.

Then i thought about modifying some wing mirrors to take an LED strip. I can do it so its visible from all the angle required.

Can anyone see any problem with this?

The only thing i can think of is that the wing mirrors have to move to be adjusted, would this cause problems?

Cheers
Mikkel

They have to be visable from the rear at an angle of 5' from the axis of the car and 5' downward from the lamp. A lot of the aftermarket mirrors like the CBS ones are only visble from the front.

So if i modify some to take a strip LED that is visible from the right angle then that should be fine?

Or simply molding one of those little round ones into the side of the mirror so its visible?

Hi

Slight hijack - but any reason why flexi LED strips could not be wrapped around the roll bar uprights?

Ignore me ............... Note 5: A side repeater lamp must be fitted within 2600 mm of the front of the vehicle

Regards Mick
