book locost wheelbase
making a jig to square a build of a book locost with an escort live drive axle and cortina hubs.
any of you guys have a note, or a measurement, of the wheelbase of a standard book built car?

Mine is std book with escort live axle and cortina hubs. 2370mm wheel centres.

thanks for the reply, i had read a few bits of ron's book and guessed that it was 2370mm, i didn't have the axle tube size , hence the
guess.

i can think of lots of reasons why the build has stalled.
all the same, point taken.
I know that i have to start building and stop fiddleing with the car, last year saw it with brakes, steering, suspension, engine, gearbox, pedals etc.
Then i lost a bit of confidence in the build and decided that i would rose joint everything and alter the wishbone settings, current state is a bare
frame with no rear tie bar mounts and all of the wishbone mounts removed, engine on the floor et.c.
so like i said, i have to stop mucking about with it and just get on with the build. Keep the jibes coming it'll spur me on.
