K series to type 9 bellhousing

I'm looking for a K series to type 9 bellhousing for my Spite project. Ideally, I'm after a flywheel, clutch and all the other bits too, but I'm open to ideas!

Oh, a hydraulic clutch would be a bonus too!

The best source for these is Caterham owners who are upgrading to Duratecs (well, being rich, they would). Not sure of the best way to find one, though. There's a Caterham section on Pistonheads, might be a good idea to put a post on there.

Whilst I could buy a new one, and it's not too bad a price, if I can get one cheaper then so much better!

Already got wanted ads up on PH. I'm in no rush, as I have lots of rust to remove first!

Hi Simon,

Not a bad price given that it's from Caterham. These guys are the only other people i can think of but they don't list the K http://www.rwdmotorsport.com/bellhousings/cat_2.html

Another supplier of Caterham parts are these guys, not sure if this is a stock item for them or not, but worth a call http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/

Kind regards

John

Have you got the engine? I have a complete setup that I may sell if no one wants to buy my unfinished Indy. Engine has zero miles, cater ham bellhousing and sump. New cater ham starter motor.

All you really need is a rover PG1 bellhousing, couple of plates of metal, and make your own!

Blatchat's For Sale section is the place... the good thing is that you can send them an email via the site even if you are not a member! (nothing there at the moment, though)
