Hayabusa atmospheric air pressure sensor

Quick question. Does the tube on the atmospheric air pressure sensor need to be conected to anything? Mine was loose in a box and the manual doesn't really come up with much.

Hi the atmos sensor has 2 bolt fixings this isnt connected the tube just sits there
the map sensor on airbox has 1 bolt and needs to be connected to the throttle bodies thin tubes

Just make sure the tube is facing downwards to avoid dirt or condensation.
