Quaife 4 speed Cluman Box

Gauging interest on the sale of my Quaife 4 speed box fitted to my Tiger at present.

2.48 first ratio.

Runs currently with my 185 hp Redtop and is very well suited, much nicer than my old type 9 and sounds awesome.

With 15" wheels and 3.92 diff she ran at approx 50 in 1st/70 in second/ 105 in 3rd and topped out in fourth at 130mph but would obviously do more with a better rev band than i have.

Adapted to take speedo drive.

Rebuilt earlier this year with new bearings and gaskets.

Mail me if interested at laptoprob@hotmail.co.uk.

Looking to get around £450 for it.

Can send on carrier POA.

Cheers.

Dopdog, i swapped this unit for a five speed Tran-x but now i have it in i cant see any difference apart from the obvious as the four speed cruised lovely in 4th all day. But after spending 700 quid and half a day taking this one out and putting the new one in i`m going to have to sell this one
