Vivaro boost sensor

is it not the hose split down by the turbo? had loads of them with boost sensor codes nearly always split pipe on the back of the head

Will give it a look but occasionally it will boost fine other times nothing .

Is this the type with a remote sensor and hose from the back of the manifold? If so ive had a few blocked, clear out the pipe on the back of the manifold with a drill bit before fitting a new sensor.

Pull the hose of the back of the manifold hold your finger 1/2" away from the outlet and get someone to rev the engine to confirm.

next to it on mine is the turbo boost controller (real name ?)with vac pipes that can play up. and some times the variable veins in the turbo seize.

last time i was chasing that fault it was a hole in the intercooler

Have now cleaned this out and it was blocked solid at the manifold as you said Paul , unfortunately it made no noticeable difference so the search continues. lol
