lancia delta s4 replica

Hi all first post on this site this project is probably not your thing as it is totaly diferent to your cars i am building a replica of the 1985/86 lancia delta s4, with the intension of a small production run after compleation, i have started with a delta shell and built a space frame front and back the front and rear body work came from a company in italy who used to manufacture the panles for lancia, engine will be fiat coupe 20vt mid mounted running a getrag gearbox and then a 4x4 transfer box, i am using subaru diffs front and back and modifide hubs, wheels are replica of the original speedline ones 10"x17" rear and 8"x17" front, i have put a link to my flikr photos as there is to many to post plus i dont want to bore you thanks for reading Mick.

I think youll find that because it totally different alot of people on here will love your car... i certainly think it looks amazing, nice to see something different. Always loved the deltas and cant wait to see it finished

Maybe we do like it, maybe we don't, but I think we will all admire the thought and work that is going into it. I do like the exhaust manifold. It's because it's different not run of the mill that I personally like it. Keep going.

You're very welcome here so please keep us updated. Looks like a fantastic build. I like the way you're replicating the original's drivetrain layout as best you can with the bits you're using - class. As a 4WD geek/perv I'm wondering what you're using as the transfer case/centre diff and would also love more filthy photos of the diffs/propshaft runs etc etc . Looks like you've had to mount the engine relatively high up to get out the way of that central rear prop, although hard to see from the photos. Not that that should really matter too much.

Anyway - good stuff
