Bits of pipe wanted

As title.

I'm after 4 pieces of 1-1/2 nominal bore Sched 160 stainless pipe by 18mm long.

Can anyone suggest somewhere that may be able to help?

Thanks in advance

Neil

You will struggle to get stainless in sch 160. What's the application I may have sch120 low temp a333 c/s at work.

I have a few bits of 15/8" O/D S/St pipe that I had to make up my exhaust. No idea what Sched it is, but should be around 11/2" ID or nearly so. Yours if any good. Cheers Ray

They're for the clamp spacer rings at the head end of a bike engine exhaust so the grade isn't important only rustlessness.

They would be 48mm od by 34mm id (ish).

It would take forever to bore out solid SS bar on my modelmakers lathe

Thanks anyway chaps.

I'll see if I've got any of the material I used. It was too big on the ID but I knocked 4 pieces of tig wire into the gap to centralise it and it left a perfect gap for welding.

Just a thought: wouldn't it be easier to get 20mm*3 strip and bend it to make your brackets?

Thanks Davie

Putting tacks in the bore never occurred to me. Doh!

Hi Neil,

Sorry for the delay, today was the first of me getting to the garage. Unfortunately I can't find any of the pipe I used, I've been trawling through my emails trying to find the invoice for the sizes but again I've drawn a blank. Sorry

Regards
Davie

EDIT for typo
