Info wanted about a firm near Whitby

Hi all does any one know the name of a firm that sell's wood burning stoves/ fires near Whitby
i think its about 4 miles out on the Hull road And do they have a web site

There's no Hull road out of Whitby! Are you thinking of Town and Country Fires in Pickering

or perhaps Selcrete which was on the A171 Middlesborough/Teesside Road before it closed last summer. Selcrete closed, not the A171.....

theres a place at foxholes between scarborough and driffield , thats heading hull way , mega expensive ,,,think its called wolds stoves,,

Hi Owelly
I think Selcrete will be the place i was told about them today and was told they were very cheep
it looks like i am to late if they have gone

Derek, the guy who ran Selcrete, didn't want to be a millionaire so he sold stuff to make a bit of profit. I bought black heatproof quarry tiles off him for 40pence each whereas the cheapest I could find elsewhere were closer to £2 each! I also bought a gas fire off him for £500. The cheapest I could find the same one any where else was £900.
He's retired now but you could always try ringing 01947 603178 to see if he's still around and if he has any stock left.
