Engine suppression
Please could someone advise me re steps i need to take to ensure i provide correct / sufficient radio suppression. I have a pinto with points
distributor & lucas sports coil. I put the system together myself & it runs well. The HT leads are new Champion "triple silicone high
performance leads" also marked with the letters 1B - but nothing to state they are suppressed. Thanks in advance. Nige

Conrod - many thanks - thats the sort of sensible advice we need. Could be another job off the run down to SVA list. Nige

My SVA man looked at the leads, was happy with them, and then explained that the reason he had a radio on low volume in the test station was that as
cars drive in, he knows right away if they are going to fail on the suppresion part of the test.
So the radio test is a good one

on a similar theme, my neighbour complained that my old lawn mower interefered with his tv! obviously it was made before leads were supressed.
Beware! Bourettes is binfectious.
