A4 Brake Pads

Hi,

calling Audi bods!

have just changed the front pads on my A4 and the low pad warning light is still coming on.

Have tried disconnecting the sensors and light still comes on (not sure whether this is correct or not!).

Do I need to have the warning light reset or could I have a faulty set of pads?

There is a small amount of corrosion within the nearside plug - could this be the fault?

Any pointers gratefully received.

Cheers
Ray

The low pad light should go out on it's own; No reset required. From memory A4s have the sensor built into the pad rather than clipped in. I've had these be faulty a couple of times but it's not common.

all sorted - turned out to be my ham fistedness.

I had trapped and severed one of the wires during fitting.
