Sorry to brag, but today is a good day........

I'm a software developer in the food industry by trade and we had a very important audit performed yesterday. The software that I have personally written for that specific department provided the auditor with the FASTEST audit he has ever seen! On top of that we scored a perfect 100% on the audit which is a big deal for global certification. The auditor also stated that our department was in the top 2 in the state of Florida!

Okay, bragging over....

On a side note, should there be a another web site called locostlurkers? I have yet to build anything but have been a member here for almost 2 years now..... just a thought

You forgot the subroutine for digestion.... should read something like this:

10: pick up food
20: put food in mouth
30: chew
40: swallow
50: goto sub - DIGESTION
60: poo
70: goto 10
run

label DIGESTION
100: release HCL acid
110: swish around
120: move to intestines
130: remove nutrients
140: goto 60

I used to be responsible for ISO9000 compliance in a 100 strong IT department. Having passed an external audit with no defects I've got a small inkling of how proud / relieved you must feel.

Well done

Can I suggest a line 61

61 Wash hands

Alternatively you may find that you get a Basic error messge "Feel Sick" and the machine boots you out into something in the from the 8081 code set that if written in basic would look like:

10 feel sick
20 mouth waters
30 vomit
40 vomit some more
50 runny poo
60 vomit
70 Feel ill
80 runny poo
90 if int rnd(10) = <9 go to 10
100 go to bed

I havent coded in basic since 1983 so maybe there are some errors there... but not as bad as missin line 61!

Thank you everyone!

Currently we are ISO22000 compliant which is a relatively new global standard in the food industry. It is ridiculous the documentation and records that you have to keep for this certification, but it makes everything else downstream much easier to handle. The amazing thing is our IT staff is only about 15 strong. We do all of the software development in house for a user base of 400-500 people.
