FS int 'Bay. Alfa engines and RWD bellhousing.

Alfa 3ltr V6 engines x2 RWD conversion Spares kit car on eBay (end time 05-Apr-11 22:13:38 BST)

The time has come to move on. The love affair with the little Italians has come to an end and I now have my fingers knuckle deep in a Frenchy.
Two knackered engines but enough to make one good one possibly. The bellhousing and other stuff needed to turn the Alfa V6 round the right way.
ETDWM!!

"The car has competed all of the Practical Performance Car Magazines £999 Challenges"

Really?!

Just noticed though, it says "Competed all" so is tha Competed in all or Completed all then?

An excellent ad!

Although I don't suppose you'd be willing to sell the bellhousing on it's own?

Hmmmmmmmmm, there's a thought !
An hour to Whitby, give or take traffic on the A19.
An hour to load, 15minutes to drink your brew and 20 to shoot the breeze.
An hour and fifteen home, including detour to scrapyard to collect £70.00.

May just have a bid, as that will be more than I have made today !
Looking forward to meeting you.

Regards
Jon

Edited to correct spelling mistake !

Ohhh well, no Whitby fish and chips for me this week. However, my 2 bids did see your price rise to over £30.00, so I did help you a little bit!
Just no excuse for a blat down the A174.

Did somebody off here win this ?

Regards
Jon

Edited for spelling mistake, twice

Dunno, but it was'nt me! I stuck £6 on them this morning & meant to be back & do a bit more tonight but I've just got in & missed them. Just about more than it was worth to me by the time I took the time & fuel into account anyway.

Some blokey from Leicestershire has bought it. He wants to convert his FWD car into a RWD with an Alfa 24v V6. I've just found the invoice for the silicon intake hoses that were fitted for all of 20 minutes........£39. And the new starter motor that started the car no more than about 20 times......£145. I need to stop thinking about it!!!
