DIY rollcage fitment
just thought i would show you what i have been up to this last week,i wanted a full rollcage in my indy as i did not think just having the single hoop
was enough the cage kit will be fully welded as will the brackets, hopefully by this time tom it will be in and ready for paint,i will post some pics
of the brackets/plates i have made tom.

Nice job you have made of that .
I like the way you have gone though the dash area will it give you more room for your knee ?
Instead of putting the double bend in the front legs could you have left them straight going more to your feet ?
I am thinking of doing something similar

good work fella! looking good
something i noticed though, see the inner two harness mounts, are they gusseted underneath? or are they only attached by one line of weld along the
plate? (or two, one either side of the plate?)
looks like they could do with a bit more stiffening?
wouldn't want you falling foul of it. as i'm sure you know, a lot of them are welded through the box section, rather than a plate behind
it

Looks really good that - wouldnt mind doing something similar on ours. Who did the tube bending?
Im guessing you cant use a DIY cage in any regulated motorsport event? - I'm not familiar with this side of things, just reading the odd snippet
regarding MK's own cage and its compliance with regs.

Can't help re: racing regs but the front hoop was done by Joe (welder man) ant the rest of the cds tubing was bought and bent by a guy
advertising on eBay,if you want to go racing then use the guidelines from the bluebook (do away with the bend by the dash) to be on the safe side.
