Busa install - help/advice in Sussex

Good evening All,

This is my first post having just bought a MK Indyblade! Am loving it and just about to begin the process of changing the engine to a 1999 Busa engine....

Is there anyone around the East Sussex area, I am in Eastbourne and would massively appreciate help/advice and any assistance/experience in the locality!!

I will be selling the full exhaust and Blade engine afterwards including loom and DigiDash 2 if anyone is interested. The gearbox is knackered but the engine is good.

Would be greatful for any contacts in my area as will no doubt be needing parts as follows:
Accusump
Full Busa Exhaust for MK Indy (probably from MK direct)
Paddle Shift
Oil Cooler
Oil pressure gauge
Oil lines and new water lines
Engine mounting cradle (probably from MK direct)
Flat sump?
Air filter - sausage preferred as I like induction noise

Cheers
Jason

Welcome to the forum Jason
There's a few of us in Eastbourne with kits. I have just sold my R1 Westfield i built , Cosmick on here lives locally runs a Megabusa and knows his way around it very well especially the engine side of things.
You will also find this site has a massive wealth of knowledge which the guys are only to happy to pass on.

Never expected there to be any members so close to home! RESULT
The more I look into this conversion the more daunting it is becoming!

Excuse my ignorance!

Another Eastbourne resident signing in!! Ps you won't like induction noise if you want to do track days it may fail the noise test!!

Crikey seems Eastbourne is firmly on the KitCar map!!
I am after some nice induction noise, track days will be fairly few and far between to be honest.

Are there any local meets at all? I believe the first Thursday of the month there is a meet at Chailey..?
