Will this exhaust pass the IVA
I am building a MEV Rocket, similar to above. I have now got to the exhaust stage. If I made an exhaust similar the above pic, would this pass the
IVA? I could'nt find anything in the IVA guide. I dont mean about loudness etc, just more of the design & would it need heat shields
etc?
Also would I be ok if I wanted to make small twin rear silences that came out the middle at the back of the car then run vertically up?

I cant see any reason to why it wouldn't, after all its exactly whats on a seven apart from at a different place in the car!

Does the edge not have to be rolled? haven't got mine through the test yet so don't quote me on that good luck

Looks like the mounting brackets may be a problem also. Do they use the large cone thing for IVA that they used in SVA?

This may be a difference between SVA and IVA, but in 2005, my SVA inspector told me I could weld daggers and razor blades to the rear of the car as
the radius rules only applied to forward facing projections.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
