Type 9 LONG FIRST GEAR

I went to sp components today to collect a long first gear kit for my 2.8 type 9 box, really helpfull guy running it .The gearkit was a good deal cheaper than other gear kits i have seen, very pleased with it .

and what is 'long'? By default the box should be 3.3ish (ok i can't quite remember). Any idea if they do anything for the standard box?

I exchanged my laygear for a recon laygear with a 2.74/1 first gear pair.The cost was 200 pound plus vat, if you dont have laygear to exchange add 50 pounds on. The details are under gears bottom of page on the website. Just to add the kits are for both 2.0litre and 2.8 standard T9 boxes. different ratio on 2.0litre gear.
