can u get a 1.8 pinto or r all 1.8s cvh
if so what bhp r they?

Yip better forget about the 1.8 engine, no tuning goodies to be found, so leave it go for either a x-fow 1600 of pinto 2.0.

well there is a 2.0 litre twincam that i can get out of a sierra it also has alloys
would that be any good?

i had a c reg sierra estate new once. it was slower than the 1.6 cavalier at the time.

Early granadas are pinto,i had an 88 on an E-plate that was pinto and a mate has a G-reg with a DOHC(double overhead cam)engine.
Either engine can be used but most people seem to prefer pinto single overhead cam,tuning parts are more available for this engine.

would u recomend the dohc cos there one up for grabs
i might also be able to get my hands on a toyota corolla dohc 1.6 to use for a later date
