Different but a lot of hassle, why not just build a Mojo?

i wonder what it handles like
with all the weight at the back end is it tail happy and do you get any grip at the front
i am sure it could be made to work but you need to know what your doing to get it right

Looks like fun! Imagine you get tons of rear end grip, would put the power down nicely. But would agree with protofj re. understeer, but some neg
camber'll help!
Thinks "spare Mk1 MR2 in the driveway, mmmm!"

But more, much more than this,
I did it side-ah-ways.

Intriguingly he also used the instrument console and centre console straight from the MR2.......

Can anyone find out who's car that is and ask him about the weight distribution and the handling?! I HAVE GOT to know!
I'm going to assume 70-30 (% Rear to Front). Isn't that similar to a 911? I'd also bet total weight is close to 600 Kilos.
Wicked oversteer at the limit is my uneducated guess.

I guess this one is still a Locost (as in low-cost) while the Mojo has an expensive bodywork in comparison?
Cheers.
BTW plus.. I've heard (and seen pics) pretty scary stuff about lack of triangulation in some places of the Mojo 2 chassis..

Wow, it's beautiful! Much better than a standard locost in the looks department IMHO....other than the wonky MR2 wheels. I always thought the
standard locosts were too long in the front, this one looks just right.

Turbo time....
I notice you are building using a 4G63.....
How is the build going ? any pics available?
My tin top has the same engine and I have fantasisied about ripping it out to use instead of my pinto...... Course the wife wouldn't be too
impressed.
Bloody good engine though, I've 145 on the german Autobahn's..... (in standard tune)

I reckon the weight distribution isn't too bad. The driver is sitting quite a lot further forward than a locost, and if the builder's
thought about it thet battery will be right up at the front. The radiator is also still up at the front (surprisingly heavy when full of water).
His air filter need relocating though. The temperatures in the engine compartment must get pretty high, it's bad enough in an MR2.
Reckon there must be a decent amount of luggage space under the "bonet" as well.
