Have another bump.

Your penalty for the bump is to hopefully answer the following, which I'm sure is of interest to others:

What is the towing weight of the van, given the max load weight (see chassis plate for GTW)?
Do you have a tow bar anywhere?

I'm actually looking for a 2012 season van, I'll need one before March sometime so I'm somewhat serious. There's a LWB Transit that came up on here earlier (a bit over/too highly priced for me) but this is more affordable. I'll see how things go. There's a raft of uncompliant LEZ vans coming up at the moment, which might just be more affordable still.

Locostransit?

I do have a tow bar that can go with the van (Witter), i bought it last year but never fitted it

The site gives all the spec's for the van

http://www2.whatvan.co.uk/vandata.asp?id=339

The van has a lower floor than a transit due to it being fwd.
A mate of mine has a transit 2.4 duratoruqe its feels very under powered compared to this van + this has a nice dash shift not a big long daft gear stick like the transits.
