it's very windy here and im only south cumbria! loads of roads closed and rivers overflowing. must be extremely bad further north.

Aye... it's a wee bit breezy! 
Had a mature tree fall over in the garden about lunchtime!

The wife has been in Holland this week - she leaves Schiphol at 9pm for Newcastle.
Currently blowing 60mph here - She is ok flying, but the colleague (bloke) with her is crapping himself

She was walking about with a branch in her jaws the other day!
Missus came back to Edinburgh from London on a noon flight today... she said there were a few squeals on the plane!

Last week at work, the cab was waiting to land , in the hover with 90kts showing, it wasnt moving either
Flying in its no problem, its the the last foot that kills you.

Very windy on the M8 today early afternoon, was in a curtain sider and it was defiantly a two hands on the wheel drive
Still managed to see an artic reversing up the hard shoulder after missing a junction though!!!!!!

plenty of spray being whipped up off the clyde today, but the maddest thing i saw today was rain water on the road being whipped up into spray. never
seen that before, then something hit the side of the car, but it wasn't in the road to start with, and i still don't know what it was...
