DVLA Office closures

If we think that dealing with DVLA local offices for getting VIN numbers, Chassis inspections, tax etc can be a frustrating process now just wait until next year when Swansea will be the only option.

see link on local office closures http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16158015

really can't see how this will improve the service?

Hate to think how long and how many phone calls it'll take to get a freshly IVA'd car registered if this goes ahead.

Time for them to change the procedure so everything is done in one place at the same time at the IVA test...... Would save so much time and effort for everyone involved!

VOSA is a private company owned by ze Germans
DVLA is a tax collecting government department
VOSA will want money to collect money etc.
The Government has no money thus the closure of the local offices and the work going to Swansea

Nice to see the money spent on the new multi million pound DVLA office in leeds last year hasn't gone the waste. Well atleast we won't have DVLA ' customers' clogging up our car park - every cloud :-)

Good job I don't work for the b**** utility company then :-) Yep they are a pain parking both sides on a narrow road, double yellows might sort them. What will it be like when they build the housing estate on the waste land opposite !!!!
