Suggest a colour... go on...

Right, so the plan for blacking the bike out is going to the shelf. I can't get anyone to do black chrome at all. Tried all the suggestions, been looking around, talking to people who say they can, and then it never gets anywhere.

So blank canvas then. Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Prefer darker colours, metallics, candies. Whatever. All are doable.

Lots of bits are black, engine has black nickeled covers which is really a very, very dark grey in appearance.

So here's the canvas:

Planning to get it all done over the winter, once I have lifted all the Camaro bits off it!

Looking good. Matt black all over. Though exhaust manifolds might be a problem. I've never managed to get even the proper paint to withstand the heat. Failing that red/gold with normal chrome exosts.

Copper coat for very cool rat rod look

Or lambourghini aventador grey. Both just tank snd wheel arch, everything else highly polished.

Thanks so far, keep em comin'

I thought about going dark blue with the Camaro. But now doing that the original Charcoal Grey instead, with black stripes.

Trying to go away from matt and rat type finishes. Kinda drags the resale value down a bit. And its not a cheap bike

Very dark metallic charcol grey or graphite, with a big metallic flake. Maybe with some very subtle silver lines to pick out chrome parts.

As resale seems high on your agenda choose the most popular and least controversial colour out there which I imagine would be gloss black with maybe some silver highlights.

Then if you want to individualise it during your ownership maybe look at wrapping the black to suit. In fact something like the green tape you have on the bike might be fun.

Bike looks great by the way.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I am currently leaning towards going with a very dark grey and black combo. With some really subtle metal flake (yes its possible!)

Going to see the paint man soon to discuss ideas

Metallic pink as in the toyota thingies. At least a buyers wife will like it, sort of like 'resale red', but nicer and girlie?!

Cheers,
Nev.
