Got freesat boxes in our conservatory and kids bedroom, easy to set up if you have sky already, just connect them up to one of the fee ports on your sky dish lnb and away you go

Hi can you watch separate channels with this though?

Main reason is I don't get a look in to the tv these days?

Thanks

Yep, just like having another sky box without the monthly bill. Have a look at your sky dish, pull the plastic cover off the lnb and you will see how many spare sockets you have, if like mine you have sky+ the lnb has 2 spare sockets, you just run some coax from one of them to your freesat box and away you go.

To watch separate channels you need independent feeds from the dish, so as mentioned, connect direct to the LNB on the dish. You may have to change the LNB to a quad or octo, dependng on the number of TV's etc.

I got a cheap bush one from argos to try first, thats still in the conservatory. Got a humax one that cost a fair bit more for the kids room, has a lot more features than the bush one but for 30 quid i still think the bush one was a bargain.
