The best headlights for a 7?

I currently have some carbon effect 5" round ones on my Indy and they are woeful.

What is everyone else using?

Does any company make round lamps with projector lenses?

When it comes to lights, I believe you get what you pay for and when it comes to value for money and customer service, there is no better supplier than SVC in my opinion

Maybe add some spot lights behind your grill or similar if its some extra main beam light you are after?

Hi mate. I've searched but they aren't many reviews.

The R1 is a good unit, it needs another tune though after I've changed a few things, it's far more fun than my 4-age westie!

We have the 5 3/4 stainless steel headlights and the light output is superb.

Why not just fit a 5 3/4 " insert that will take an H4 and fit some Halfrauds Extreme brightness bulbs?

It occurs to me that no-one appears to have used an led cluster... I'm sure there's something that could be used and would put out far more light and take up less space

Something like this?
Or better still this?

sadly LED's are only suitable for low wattage stuff (sidelights etc) at the moment. I suspect in a few years there will be some interesting developments, but until then we are stuck with Halogen (or HID if you really must)

I also think that Russ's's's's's's's dinky dominators look the best.

That's what I'll be putting on the F27 when it gets rebuilt!

That's what I bought and they look the nuts. They are not bright with the standard bulbs however. At dipped beam they look like side lights. To start with I thought I had a bad earth, but then several other people told me the same. The solution seems to be to just upgrade the bulbs - job done I'd definately buy them again based on a combination of looks and value for money.

i agree mine are awesome on main worse than useless on dip. they are also illegal on a new build unless you rewire them. not a problem but you need to know.

So is there anything wrong with these. They seem to be about half the price of others that have been discussed in this thread?

Nothing wrong with them. Just not as nice, IMHO of course. I'm sure I felt a reduction in drag when I switched from 7 inchers to dominator style too.
