50,50 petrol diesel mix
What can i do with 75lts of petrol diesel mix that took out of my sons car.

put it diesel car at a ratio of 15% to fight fuel waxing.
Dont try thickening it with engine oil.

If you've got an old indirect injection diesel like an old Merc or Peugeot or an non-PD VW TDI you may be able to use it as transport fuel.
Otherwise use it to burn stuff!

Doesn't work i'm afraid, otherwise i would be an extremly rich man. Apparently you can separate it by heating it. I've never tried
but i guess you have to be pretty brave to do it. Don't put it in a car either you could cause alot of damage to the pump and injectors.
It's great for cleaning greasy parts though.

Use it in an old Orchard Heater. It works a treat for keeping a LARGE garage workshop warm in winter.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Shouldn't it be possible to reclaim the duty that was paid on this. The duty was based on it being used as vehicle fuel (which is now
can't).
I bet the big oil companies get away with this, but probably more difficult for the individual.

I would be very wary of using it for anything especially heaters or central heating. Petrol vapours will still explode even when mixed with diesel or
even water all it needs is air. The only safe use would be to put it in an older non common rail diesel mixed 1gall to ten of diesel (5%)

You could also put it in small quantities into an older petrol too, makes it smoke a lot but like I say small quantities

I managed to put 11 litres of petrol in my 58plate tdi a4 last night.
Brimmed it with 54 litres of diesel and hoping for the best

Not sure about in a 58 plate TDI
sounds very dodgy to me, but if you were to keep the tank brimmed with diesel over the next few hundred miles, it would dilute the mixture
If it was my car, i would of had all the fuel sucked out

Hmm ditto. 10:1 I would worry less about but 5:1 is quite a lot of petrol for a modern high pressure TDI

I eventually used up all my waste diesel by adding to my petrol tank in small doses.....

Not sure how it would affect a lambda sensor, but my car's on carburettors and a dash of diesel improves performance.

Couple of hundred quid in fuel vs 5-10 times that for a new high pressure fuel pump if it all goes pear shaped.
Modern diesel fuel pumps really don't like petrol at all.
