I can get it stated by bumping it but it doesn't charge the battery can't jump start it as my car is a 308 and the battery is half under the fuse box and a right bic to get at and the kit well we won't even go there lol

can you check with a multimeter what volts the battery is holding with the engine on and off?

should tell you if the battery is dead or the alternator is busted?

good luck mate.

I had a simular issue which i thought was the alternator but when the engine was running the lights got brighter when i rev'ed it making me sure it was the battery.

it made the starter knock rather than start and didnt charge after a 75 mile journey home.

anyway let me know how you get on. hope i helped....

Thanks
