iva form queries

hi all
so close to finishing my car now so just looking at filling in iva application form however i have few queries which i hope you can help with.
question 3h. what is body type of vehicle?
question 3k. what is number and arrangements of cylinders? does this mean 4 cylinders and inline?
also on the built up inspection report, under the section that states "original parts not used" what do i put?
the donor car has been cut up and scrapped, although i havent informed dvla of this. i still have the v5 document and chassis numbers

Hi,

For my Tiger Avon I gave the following responses on the IVA1 and these were accepted by VOSA for my IVA last week at Norwich.

3h - Two seater open sports car.
3k - Four cylinder in line.

Not sure about your last question regarding components not used as I can't find this question on either the IVA 1 or the Amateur Build Declaration forms which is what I completed.

If it's an amateur build, then you don't need to complete sections 4, 5, 6 or 7 and in section 2 of the Amateur Build Declaration, I just entered the major components which I had used from the donor vehicle and like you, mine has been scraped but haven't sent the V5 document off to the DVLA.

Regards

Steve

Build up put
Axles, steering, engine, gearbox, brakes etc.
All the stuff you took from the donor and put on the chassis.
