MK Indy Automatic

Hi folks,
My MK Indy Automatic is still for sale so I thought I'd see if anyone needs a springtime project.
It's now SORNed and resting in my garage.
1250 miles approx since SVA in March 2009 - will need its first MoT before going back on the road.
2L Pinto engine, A4LD autobox, 3.38 Sierra free diff, rear drums.
Centre tunnel is wider than standard - the auto is BIG!
The gearbox input shaft oil seal is shot and I've been pondering fitting some other engine and box.
Also slight dribble from front crank seal
But I only did 50 miles in it last year - about £8 per mile - hence SORN.
And I've got other things to do with my time.

So it's available for £3600 along with some extra bits:
- spare 2L Pinto for rebuild
- spare A4LD box for rebuild
- type 9 dismantled but all cleaned and painted externally
- TPS, EDIS (was aiming to fit MJ)
- NOS waterpump
- flywheel, used clutch pressure plate (had thought of fitting type 9 instead of auto)

Some pics in my archive.
I'm not logging on here very often these days, but will try to check in every few days...

I refuse to use the 'well-known auction site' to sell it!

So, anyone want a good MK at a good price plus a bit of work...?

John.

Still here!
Surely someone wants to fit an Indy with an engine+box that won't fit a standard tunnel?
First with £3600 gets the lot...
John.

Same as before, I'd absolutley love to buy it off you but my budget is only about £2k for a car at the moment.

Still here, resting in a nice dry garage, waiting for someone to buy me and fit a Volvo, BMW, V8, bike or whatever....
£3600 is all I'm after and it's yours.

You know you want it!

It'll only need an MoT whatever you do!

John.
