MX5 Engine Gearbox Length?
I'm picking an engine and gearbox package up over the weekend and need to hire a trailier not too big or not too small.
Would anyone know the rough length (cam pulleys to the back of the gearbox) of a mk1 1.6 mx5 engine and gearbox when they are bolted together?

Looks as if the engine is 550mm (21 1/2"old money) long and g/box 800mm (31 1/2" .
Easier to separate the two before loading?
