haunted sat nav

i have an "igo" sat nav, every time i approach the junction of the A1/M25 from the south it cuts out as if i have switched it off and has to be restarted from cold.
this only happens at 2 places, one on the A1 slip road up to the roundabout and if i am coming from a smaller road to the east.
if i go along the M25 or A1 and bypass the junction it works normally.
any ideas?

No ideas as to what doing that to yours, but at least it's not trying to kill you. Mine's convinced that there are 30 mph speed limits on randon stretches of motorway and has a habit of telling me to do insane things (Fortunatly I don't trust it so I don't do these things).

I downloaded Bonnie Tyler's voice for my TomTom.

Now it keeps telling me to turnaround.

I bought the Bonnie Tyler satnav and every now and then it falls apart.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

"Prepare to keep straight on"

I nearly crashed the first time she told me that because I actually looked at it and said "scuse me? whaaat?"

My sat nav used to live in my sock drawer, and on a couple of occasions , both my wife and i heard voices, and my sat nav had turned itself on, and was going to a place that we have never been or done a search for

It was well spooky, but we do have a couple of visitors in my house anyway !

Now the tom tom lives in my car 24/7 and even when i use it, and its fully charged, when ever i go back to it, the battery is dead
so i presume its still turning itself on and taking itself somewere,
f ing odd we both think, and even more strangley niether mysely or Jan can remember were it was going

Mine considers not turning as 'Keep right' and frequently tells me to do this on dual carriage ways when what I actually need to do is keep left but not turn off.

They're terrible things, I avoid using it at all costs. Mine doesn't recognis large parts of the M20 and goes off on one because it thinks I'm in a feild. My dads one doesn't like the M6, we drove all the way down from glasgow past birmingham with it telling us to go back and go across to the M1 the whole time, and from it's arrival estimates it looked like it wanted us to go all the way back.

Wait until they're using the same technology as an automatic speed limiter for your car!!

I've got tomtom 7100 pro in my van, brilliant. Never been wrong, it's also part of the tracking system in the van so has traffic, google search and iqroutes.
