Newark by trailer ?

I always leave things until the last minuet and this is no different.

Having seen Mtec's post and I would love to stick my car on the rollers at the show and find out what she makes. 2L zetec with home made mani and home rewired ford mondeo ecu. As its still not been for an Iva it means taking it on a trailer.

Anyone took a car on a trailer before ? I wouldn’t want to leave the trailer in the car park is it wont be mine.

In an ideal world I would like to get let in with the other kits. Stick the tow car and trailer in the corner of the field and I can line mine up with the rest of the Locosts
All I have in my mind is the v10 viento from a few years back.

Still up in the air as the locost needs a clean and service. Got to check if the tow car is upto it and other stuff.
whats the score ?

Tell them youre delivering to the rolling road, and park the trailer up still attached to the car inside the showground. Ive seen others do this, particularly at stoneleigh.

Can't see a problem, there's always loads of room at Newark, a few cars arrive by trailer, just take a hitch lock or wheel lock along and park it up in a corner

Wont be a problem at all, just turn up at the exhibitors/kitcar entrance and they wont even question it.

You could always chuck a tent in and camp the weekend then you could trundle round the showground for two days

I was going to take mine by trailer too

But having just looked at the forecast I think I'll give it a miss this time.
