That must be fast as feck. Be careful of the boost kicking in mid corner.

Speak to hicost.
His car has a similar motor setup
but is well developed and reliable
James will be able to give you pointers
To make it truly awesome.

Can some one tell me why everytime some one
Posts a new car up someone always advocates welding
Large diameter scaffold poles to a nice chassis.
The seven is a pretty shape and it's simplistic design is
Really clever. I can understand caged cars for racing or track but road???
Are your driving skills so poor that you are going to crash everytime you go out ??
If you cage everything you might as well just have a tin top....
Answers on a postcard....

Yeah..........

Yeah.............. Full cage on a '7' pretty fugly , makes 'em look like a spedeworth stock car!

Adding all that metal/weight would make Colin Chapman roll over!!!

Single hoop and some pucker diagonal braces could look OK.

Won't be responding to any incoming flak, i don't care enough . Just my opinion!!

I did a removeable front Diagonal in my first car and it made me feel a lot safer, prob added a considerable amount of strength too...

Just thought i would update my progress with Mk

Well found out why it was cheap, had the oil changed to the correct spec oil and the oil preasure is in the RED

With some searching i found out that the lad who had the engine built, used a P100 pick up Block with a shitty Pinto crank,, so its actualy only a Cosworth head with a crap bottom end.. Not good enough for 330bhp

All i can say is what a wanker!

I have to say i am not totaly surprised it was cheap enough,,,, Ive located a new Cossi engine, thats going in next week

If its a pinto bottom end there will b no crank breather hole in the block my mate ran a cossie with pinto bottom end and crank for a year and it was fine although we didnt think it would last.

have you pics of the bonnet around the turbo, is it cut away to help with heat?

If its a basic cossi set up you might get away with it, but at 330 bhp+ its not going to last long.

Sorry ive not got any more pics right now, but it has a portion of the side of the bonnet cut away next to the turbo,,

You could fry an egg in the bonnet just above the turbo, its mad hot still.. when the new body gets fitted i am going to have to do something to sort it better.
