Locost Bits
All these bits for a Sierra based Ron Champion locost. Tried to sell as a job lot but no takers:
 
sierrra uprights
 
Ball joints
s/h Sierra uprights with adaptors, top and bottom ball joints (new) £ 90
 
Disk brakes
 
calipers
Recon Sierra Calipers and new disks with a bit of surface rust from sitting around. £70
 
wishbone plates
2 pairs laser cut wishbone plates £20 per pair
 
type 9 Gearbox
Type 9 gearbox with stick and chassis cross member £95
 
capri axel
 
rear brakes
Capri rear axel with pair of 9" drums and backplates with seal kits £75
 
prop shaft
Propshaft 810mm overall length needs a new hardy spicer at gearbox end which is spline for type 9 £30
 
rims

Set of 5 laser alloys all similar need proper refurb £65 the set
 
tacho
50mm Smiths tacho £25

hazzard switch

What size disc are the front calipers for? Vented or solid?

@blakep82, before chris gibbs book came out there were rather a lot of Ron Champion locosts built with sierra doners due to lack of Escorts. Mine has
a real mix of parts including sierra engine, gearbox and other things. As Cortina uprights are also rare Sierra ones were also sometimes used. You
could use bits to build a Chris Gibbs roadster but chassis and back axle would not work
@minicooper, the calipers and disks are a set. The disks are vented and sierra size to fit the uprights, next time I gp to lock up I will measure but
this may not be until next weekend.

Thanks Caber, whatever size the sierra calipers/discs turn out to be, I believe either 240mm or 260mm is usual sierra sizes, did you try them for
fitment inside the laser alloys which I think are 13" like my current wheels are? This information would help me either way if you did
