Both, 1st one for everyday and the other for weekends/track days/racing. If I had that much money to spend I think I would buy a house.

I'd have a powder blue one, reg SJH499D, and the driver to go with it. As long as it is how she appeared then, as she's knocking on a bit now

+2every time I owned one when I was 21 but couldn't afford to run it (it had a few issues) but I have always wanted another. I know the standard is a slightly better handler but the +2has more style for me.

I'd have the Baby (to go with the one I already have !)

Interestingly, they are not selling it as an R even though it's built to R specification.

I remember your 'driver' when she was a student in Leeds, went into my Uncles Offy on Brudenel Road.

A printer I used to work with had an Elan and it used to shed a rear wheel with alarming regularity no matter how hard you knocked the spinner on. It was a good car for the time though.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Easy to fix swap the hubs left to right.
The reason was circa 1970 some twit at the factory fitted the knock off hubs to the wrong side ie left and right hand threads on the wrongs sides..
