headlight beam
I was just wondering if anyone knew why a flat dip beam patterned headlight may not pass IVA??
Has anyone had issues with this type of headlight when it comes to IVA
cheers, Ben

Depends, if it's a decent defined flat beam it shouldn't be a problem although depends on tester. My dominator lights were appalling there
was no defined pattern at all, my mot tester mate just laughed at them.
For IVA I replaced them with 5 inch ones off eBay which had a proper kicked up beam pattern. They are also much much brighter. I haven't
bothered putting the dominators back on.

Good quality flat beam ones will pass no problem. Crappy dominator ones wont pass because although they are meant to be flat they look more like a
smiley face on the headlight test equipment.
