Very nice. Still think that's the prettiest (sensibly) priced kit on the market.

Sorry, I Dont have a blog, I used Madinventions website for my main reference, and many many phone calls to Jeremy. But feel free to ask away any questions you may have. Plenty on here have built derivatives of Sylvas rear engined car (mojo, riot, j15 & j16) so there is a wealth of knowledge to tap into.

My engine is a fiesta 1.4 zetec with standard ecu. A mighty 90bhp

I asked Jeremy if a 1.8/2.0 zetec woulf fit, to which he didnt seem to keen on. He really likes the all alloy zetec SE engines, also the K series.
A duratect fits though, a chap has one in a yellow J15 in one of the magazines, Jenveys and emerald on it too.

Yeh I know he likes the alloy block engines and feels 120bhp is ample but the zetec is only ~30kg heavier

Only 30kgs is a considerable amount when looking at a car that is 500kgs.

I've opted for he 1.7 puma engine for my build, but the se engines really seem to suit these cars well.

Monkey arms, car looking great :-)

That's looking really good Richard.

I like the grey trim - very smart.

Been out driving the Riot most of the day, sun shining, empty roads, bliss.

Get your head down over the winter and on the road for spring.

We can have a meet halfway then for a cup of tea.
