SCOTmeet

Anyone interested in meeting up again with cars. Seems sensible to me that it should be around Edinburgh as 3 people who attend with cars OTR live near.

Perhaps have a bit of a run as well on some local roads?

Any suggestions, Baldrick, scotlad etc??

Cheers

Selkirk show is on Baldrick but I think Sat is road run only. The main show is on the Sunday. I'll be there all weekend. One of the best shows in the Scottish callender (sp?) + they have traction engines (my favourite!). See my pics of last year here.

I'll be putting the car away for the winter soon anyway (lol).

Ok I can meet Friday night or Sat night. What about others??

All those venues give me just about enough of a drive to have fun getting there. Where is this pub by macspeedy's Dave?

Just about to check weather...

Edinburgh Weather

Looks OK ish

Would be good to see you Scotlad. Talk about your track excursions etc.

Cheers

sorry didn't make it either, the car was leeking lots of oil from the bottom front oil seals,
we stripped it down and found a broken piston ring, the pressure was getting past the piston
and pushed the oil out heating of the oil also made it thinner which would not have helped,
bit of a nucience but it means we get a chance to get a working dip stick
and change the gearbox as first is very difficult to get if moving at all
should be back on the road within the week
