What would you download with 5Gig?
More fun than anything but serious useful answres accepted too.
We've a 10G/Mth package, which used to be OK but is borderline since me and the Mrs got shiney MAC's, and now we''ll bust it a
couple of day before the end of the month, meaning we'll be charged for another 5G for a £5 with 2 days to go to a new month.
So rather than loose 4.9G what should I start downloading?

Are you sure you'll go over your limit? There's been a few times where I've downloaded a Gb of 'stuff' and the network
has only registered it as 900 Mb. And that was comparing their online usage against the software installed on my laptop.
How about a couple of itunes updates? They must be a fair few Gb each time?

When I first cameacross the title of this post I knew some body may have a way of bringing in to the thread, the subject

Well so far so good, IITunes and all my apps are updating, but I think thats only about 500M
Couldnt bring myself to download the testr file, a bit to much like a patio heater
Anything Mac specific ideas is good, but dont want to set up torrents on my new baby
Porn later if Ive got some 1's and 0's left
Update:
Flash of inspiration and the PS3 is set off doing an update too.
Just found that iPhoto needs 1.5G to update!
Wouldnt mind but I don't currently use it. The porn quota is ticking away
Now LCB has just been down too!
I suspect Chris just tapped onto my ISP for a few meg whilst I've got a bit spare

too late now but I'd have rented it to a neighbour - give them the wi-fi password for cash, change it when the time runs out

Why not stop at your limit and use something else? Could your phone do a wifi hotspot like mine?
Surely those last few days amounts to a couple hundred meg, and I get about 800 with my plan. Also o2 do 200mb for 24 hours for £2
The other option is to try and cut back a little
