Howto: Cheap LED Flasher Relay.
Apologies if this is old news but I managed to convert one of vauxhall relay corsa vectra astra gm 90 055 543 or 54 201 005
 . ( I got mine for £1.45 + p.p. - £6.50 seems a bit steep, search around - any relay with a U243B chip inside should work). However it
doesn't work with the standard Sierra hazard switch wiring UNTIL you remove the bulb from the column mounted hazard switch. Then it works
perfectly.  - Not bad for < £4 & 5 mins work.

Unless you have a tell tale warning it will not pass MOT or IVA

Would fitting a Led bulb in place of the standard sierra hazard bulb solve both problems?

<£3 and no work? staright fit, and will work with the tell tale.

Tried one of those but it didn't work with the Sierra circuit. Tell tale is provided by the left & right green lights flashing on the bike
clocks.

I've had two Led flasher relays now the first was a direct replacement for the sierra ones ( lasted five years) the second one had the pins the
opposite way around so I had to remove two of the wires out of the relay base and relocate them.

Yep, I got an LED tell tale working on my build by adding an earth wire to one of the bulbs terminals and bypassing part of the switch.
