LHD steering

I hope someone can help me with a problem that a friend of mine is having with his Kit

He's over in Italy and is wanting to convert from Right hand drive to Left hand drive
The car is a used one from England and he's changing drive sides

He's bought a LHD escort rack from a dealer in England but when it arrived it turned out to be the same as the one one his car
I rang the dealer on his behalf as he can't speak very good English
he said to just turn the rack round and make some new mounts for it !
now, he could have done that with the old one

I even tried that with a spare Capri rack i have at home !
No way.

Is there anyone out here in locost land that has a left hand drive car or knows of one anywhere ?

Your help will be very gratefully received
Thanks in advance

Hal

If you turn it upside down you get reverse steering!

Buy a rack from Ebay in Europe.

That's exactly what i thought when he'd mentioned it, i only tried it to prove it to myself,

this was a dealer telling me though!

I've found another place to send him to so here's hoping !

Cheers guys !

I knew i could rely on locost builders to have the right answers

BT
Are the Fiesta racks mounted on the bulkhead on Fiesta's ? i know they are on my Astra which would mean mounting in front of the wheels upside down would be ok, wouldn't it ? or am i losing the plot ? still it's a good way to overcome the problem, thanks
