Some Scootz Bits For Sale...
Fallen back in love with Project Trike so I'll have to make some space / raise funds due to new parts arriving this weekend.
APRILIA RSV ENGINE
Gen 1 V-twin Engine. Bit grubby, but turns freely. Don't know miles or year. Comes with starter, but no other ancillaries.
£235 + delivery (if required)
I could provide a Gen 1 ECU with a 'Gabro' Eprom for an additional £95.
SMART ROADSTER SHELL
2004. Cat D (was front panel damage only). I don't have the V5, but it can be got from DVLA.
Comes with...
Both doors.
Windscreen
Rear Screen
Steering column, rack and rods
Full suspension / uprights / hubs
Brakes & handbrake assy
Tank
Bootlid
Bonnet (slight damage... repairable)
Rear panels (different colours)
It does NOT have any interior, lights, wheels or drivetrain.
My plan was to keep the interior stripped out... cut out the front screen and replace with fly-screen... remove the the rear screen... fit bike
engine... and generally try and get it less than 600KG.
£395. I can arrange delivery at cost.
MG KV6 ENGINE
V6 engine. Bare with no belt covers. Again, I don;t know the year or miles. Turns over.
£50 + delivery (if required).
BMW BASED CAFE RACER / BOBBER BIKE PROJECT
Gutted about letting this one go as it will make a fine bike when done!
Parts comprise (all used unless stated otherwise)...
BMW HP2 Sport engine / gearbox / swingarm / bevel-box / rear Brembo brake assy.
NEW R1200S 6" wide wheel
WP rear shock from KTM RC8R
All black WP forks / yolks / spindle from KTM super duke
NEW 'fat' Renthal bars
Brembo Monobloc front calipers
NEW Honda Fireblade grips
BMW R80 frame with V5 (helpfully just states 'BMW Motorcycle' on it )
BMW R1200S rear subframe (has had bits chopped off an was to be used as a jig for incorporating the drivetrain into the R80 style frame).
NEW headstock machined by West Garage (minitici) to suit the WP forks... just weld it onto the frame once you've established your geometry.
Not cheap I'm afraid as these are all top-notch components. £3,750.
I reckon you'd spend another couple of £K getting it built and then have a beautiful custom bike (which should be worth a tidy packet!).
I'M CHASING MY TAIL JUST NOW, BUT WILL TRY AND GET SNAPS ASAP!

Damn if there wasn't a large amount of salt water between us I would have taken the roadster. I wonder if 3 pallets would cover the foot print
size of the car hmmm .

Ffs, somebody please buy the Roadster! I don't have £400, I don't have room and I don't have time for another project but other than
those tiny details, I want it!!

What's your motory bike Owelly?
PS - this is what I kind of anticipated doing with the Smart car...
Remove the rear glass, then chop off the front screen entirely...
Or remove the rear glass, then chop the screen partially and fit a flyscreen to the shortened staunchions.

I'm very very interested in the bike project but not sure if i've got the spondoolies at the minute.
Can you send me more info/pics? Is the engine with loom/sensors/ecu etc etc?

Hi Frankie. I'll try and get some half decent snaps through the week for you (it's stuck at the back of a packed garage).
No ECU I'm afraid.
All the sensors were chopped from the loom and are currently attached to the engine. The loom would only have been useful if you intended running the
HP2 Sport ECU and dash... these are like the proverbial hens teeth second hand and would cost the guts of £3k new. The BMW system is also notorious
for throwing hissy fits if used without ALL the original bikes systems. I'd planned to run a Race Technology Dash 2 and an Omex or DTA... a
third of the cost of the OEM stuff and offer better tuning options.

All still available.
Loads of eBay watchers on the bike project, but no biters yet.
Can't believe the RSV lump hasn't shifted... it's a great wee engine... super-light, dry-sump as standard, 130bhp and 75ft/lbs of
linear torque. Someone get it in a single-seater or buggy!
