End of era......sold my car :-)

After 12 years ive finaly let it go Its still here but payed the cheque in today so no going back now!
feels very strange its been a masive part of my life for so long.

Question is what do I replace it with ? My currant thinking is an Elise but dought if one would be quick enough after a 260hp seven so would have to do somthing like an Audi 1.8T conversion to be happy with one, any other options you can think of?

Why did you sell it? Look far a car that answers those reasons....

I cannot help thinking that Claire's v6 mx5 would be the answer.

It will not be as fast, or have the ultimate handling of a seven but as a package it must be fabulous to drive.

Plenty of power for the chassis.

If you want to go faster then a breathed upon 911.

If you like the Elise but want more power, then how about VX220 Turbo?

Must admit an mx5 has crossed my mind but I would never pass as a hairdresser ive got next to no hair

Im thinking of selling the tintop aswell to fund the new toy so whatever I get will have to have a roof and be usable as a second car

Sorry to hear that Dave.

I hope we'll still see you at the shows.

I have got enough hair to be a hairdresser.

I've a vx220 picked it over an elise for the above reasons

Mines a n/a engine but loads supercharge them for not that much they then give 260bhp, or buy a turbo one not too hard to see 270 bhp

There agrees all round car i use mine as a daily and the kit for nice day blasts

My Elise 135r is going up for sale very soon on an '04 plate, 40K miles.

It's not 260bhp but great fun on and off the track.

Great Odin's Raven.
