Changing Zetec Cams from 1.8 to 2L?
Evening guys,
I have the cams out of the 1.8L silvertop zetec engine I have (due to having to take a chisel to the centre bolt on the cam pulley to get it out!). I
have read a few things on here about changing 1.8 cams for the 2.0L cams so on a trip to the scrappy to replace a couple of bolts I have rounded I
also picked up a pair of 2.0L cams. I understand it is an easy way to achieve an extra 10hp (ish).
Is there anything to bear in mind and that I should be aware of when coming to replacing them? My engine is a 1995 silvertop from a mondeo and the new
silvertop cams were taken from a '97 mondeo, this should not be an issue should it?
