Fitting rear arches - couple of questions??
Which way round to the rear arches go? One side seems more pointed at the bottom than the other.
Also, what should line up with what when fitting them? Should the bottom of the arch be at the bottom of the side panel at the front or is that too
low?
Any side on photos would be helpful.

I had the pointed end to the front, and lined up the ends of the arch with the bottom of the panel. Fitting a wheel helps to centralise the arch,
front to back.

Thanks for that. Ill get these fixed tomorrow hopefully. How did you fix to the arch to the car?

Stainless button head allen screws, with stainless penny washers both sides of the panel, if the nuts were in an area that was going to be skinned,
ie: cockpit sides, I fitted stainless countersunk 6mm rivnuts into a large washer and bonded the washer to the inside of the panel with epoxy resin.
you can get at least 2 screws each side into the chassis tubes.

On the front half of the wheel arch, you can pick up the chassis rails and insert rivnuts. On the rear panel, just use nuts and bolts with large
washers. We used nylon nuts and bolts to fasten the arches on our MK. Idea being, that if they get hit, the nylon bolts will snap before the arch/side
panel/rear panel take much damage. At least that's the theory...
