Pre-IVA pics for a change!

Hi guys,

Pretty close to booking an IVA so thought I'd post the obligatory photos.
I know there's no fly screen fitted, and I know there are some wires hanging behind the dash.

Otherwise all comments welcome!

Regards
Andy

Is the Front indicator distance from edge of car within limits ?

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

They do look a little close to the centre ( ISTR the rule is 400 mm from the outside edge line (its usually the rear arches, not the front) ).
But they don't look like they need moving too far, if at all.

However, it might be worth checking the lighting angles diagram - as it is obvious that someone stood on the pavement wouldn't see the far indicator as it would be concealed by the nosecone. I can't remember if this is an issue, though?

Can't see anything else obvious which might cause a problem. Is the foglight the one in the centre top of the back panel?

Must congratulate you on the car's overall neat and tidy appearance - its a credit to its builder, Andy.

Is the fog light vertical and marked as a fog light.

Are your seat belt mounts lower than the bottom edge of the holes in your seat? It's hard to tell with the rear cover on. If so and the belt slope up to the hole then the seat is structural and will fail.

Indicators appear narrow.

Radii on the aero screen?

All required labels; VIN plate, brake fluid, bias bar, switches/warning lights?

Thanks for the comments guys,

Answers:

1. Aero screen is off so that i can do the radius(ing).
2. Front indicators are within 400mm of the outside. My front and rear arches are about the same track.
3. Haven't done the VIN plate yet, but the VIN number is engraved on the chassis rail.
4. Fog light is the centre one at the top and yes is marked, and is as vertical as i can get it....
5. Switches and warning lights etc pretty sure are all present and correct (apart from horn switch).
6. Brake warning label is on the M/C, don't have a bias.
7. Harness mounting point might be a bit low, i'm playing with that at the moment, might end up just cutting the seat holes bigger.

Yes, further to the above, extract from the IVA manual:

_______________________________________________________________
a. Horizontal
i. 80deg outwards 45deg inwards.
ii. (SIDE REPEATER) To the rear between 5deg and 60deg outboard.
b. Vertical
i. < 750mm above the ground 15deg above and 5deg below horizontal.
ii. Otherwise 15deg above and below horizontal
_______________________________________________________________

So - can you see the front indicators at an angle of 45 degrees horizontally inwards?
