Is that the body out of the mould, as the wheel arches look odd. Would have thought they would come out with a finished edge instead of one that needs trimming.

No return edge on wheel arches on purpose, it can then be trimmed back to suit bride height and wheel size

Engine is out, spare engine ready to go in. no hole in the block, but engine has very little compression and makes a horrid scratchy noise when you turn it over with a big bar, guessing a melted piston.

Led tube was from eBay, dan bought it, think it was around £40

All plugs were fine when we checked after race 1. Car had been running hot all weekend and had spat all its water out at the end of pembrey. Leaky head gasket maybe?? Engine was bought from a barn with no idea of history, had done 2.5 seasons and 2 birketts, plus testing and all I had to ever done was change the oil and filtering so was expecting it go sooner rather than later
